Having the appropriate travel information before heading off onto your Romantic Journey can be very beneficial. Departing during high travel seasons as Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays, Spring Break and the Summer Break can be a travel nightmare if you don't do your homework. Plan ahead and check out the existing routes of travel before setting out, and always stay abreast of the weather.To obtain airline travel information if you're flying into or out of Seattle, you can call them locally at 206-433-5388 or check out the Port of Seattle's Website. If you're driving to the SeaTac Airport, seriously consider having someone drop you off or travel aboard one of the local shuttle's. If you're picking someone up from SeaTac, rather than circle the airports Arrival Area, you can easily park in the "Cell Phone Waiting Lot". You'll have to stay with your vehicle but it sure beats circling the airport. Once your arrival has called you, you can easily proceed to the arrival area for pickup. Seattle weather varies, nearly from hour to hour, especially during the winter and spring months. To avoid any potential delays, simply make a phone call to your travel airline and check for flight times. You'll save a lot of aggravation. If you're not sure of what articles you can bring in you carry-on luggage, check with the Transportation & Security Administration. Be sure to bring ID with you for domestic travel and the appropriate ID for foreign travel. If you're traveling to Canada you'll need some proof of citizenship. Granted, this could change at any given time, check with your airline or the U.S. State Department. If you're traveling throughout the Northwest, you may want the Washington Travel Information and/or the Oregon Travel Information. Washington State drivers can get travel information updates by calling 511, a free call, or check out the Washington State Department of Transportation. For Oregon travelers you can also call 511 within the State of Oregon or the Oregon State Department of Transportation. If you're planning on travel to British Columbia, check out the road conditions before you travel by calling 800-550-4997. This is a FEE call so check out the B.C. Governments' website.
