Because of it's diverse features of Luxury to solitude in a remarkable setting.

You've got it all here, a beach, waterfalls, ponds, pools, walks, all on 40 some
acres of beautiful manicured grounds. It's simply gorgeous.
What To Do On Your Hawaii Honeymoon Vacation...on Maui You have the opportunity to explore the beautiful waterfront town of Lahaina, a one-time busy whaling port, considered the whale capital of the world. You have numerous places to shop and dine, there's simply no end. Maui has a reputation for dazzling sunsets. This is an added edge to any Hawaii Honeymoon Vacation, nature at its best. For the adventurous, there's some of Hawaii's best surfing on the western and southern shores. The waves can get big but if you're not up to giving it a try, it's an adventure just watching the local experts ride the curling waves. You can even venture off and find the "Maui Diamond". These little stones with gem like features are small white quartz fragments found near Hekili Point. It makes for a great afternoon of fun exploring the beach and looking for the "Diamonds". A stay on Maui, as part of your Honeymoon Vacation, cannot be complete without a visit to the Haleakala Crater, or "House of The Sun". We recommend that you drive to the top and catch the sunrise. It's a marvelous sight watching the glistening sun rise over the Pacific. It simply a must see! And while there, you'll see the amazing Silversword. (This is a silver looking plant that's shaped somewhat like a barrel cactus with swords.) It truly beautiful and it's unique to this area on Maui. To add more to your Hawaii Honeymoon Vacation is a visit to the Seven Sacred Pools. These are a delicacy amongst water-flowing into perfectly smooth pools. It's nature's complete art work, just waiting for you to visit. Getting to the pools is either by foot from the top of Haleakala on an adventurous hike, or a spectacular drive along Hwy 36. The drive is remarkable winding through lush ravines, fishing villages, and numerous waterfalls. (The drawback is, if you're renting a car be sure to check out the rental agreement. Some agencies don't want you to drive too far along Hwy 36.) Another Luxurious opportunity on your Hawaii Honeymoon Vacation, is exploring the water off Molokini Island. This little island, 3-miles off Maui's south shore offers some fabulous snorkeling and scuba diving opportunities. Molokini is an inactive sunken volcanic cinder cone. It's shaped like a horseshoe and you can actually visualize the cinder cone on a slant, sunken in the water. This sunken cinder cone acts as a preserve for some beautiful tropical fish. You can meander in the water for hours looking at natures finest. It's like you're in an aquarium. You can pick up a charter boat out of Lahaina that'll zoom you over for a diving experience. Molokini was once a military target training site. The Island has remnants of military hardware; however, the island is no longer open for visitation. You can only look at the island from the boat. You have many options to choose from for lodging. Check out the Vacation Resources listed above and enjoy your Hawaii Honeymoon Vacation, you deserve it. Kauai is the Garden Island due to its lush vegetation. It's the fourth largest of the Hawaiian Islands and the most northern. Towards the center of the islands lures the beginning of Kauai, a dormant volcano, Mount Waialeale. Standing a mere 5,208 feet, this location is considered the wettest part on the earth with some 400 inches of rain per year. As a result of the high amount of water, you can imagine the Island of Kauai is abundant with waterfalls cascading down steep gorges. They are very spectacular and makes the setting for any Hawaii Honeymoon Vacation. There are three primary resort areas on the Island: Princeville on the north coast, Poipu on the south coast and the Wailus coconut coast to the east. If you want beaches for swimming an relaxation, the northern most beaches are safe for swimming. The southern beaches have a powerful currents. It's best to ask before heading out into any beach regarding the water conditions. Kauai's beaches offer great beauty; however, many of the beaches have strong currents. What To Do On Your Hawaii Honeymoon Vacation...on Kauai First and foremost, you don't have to be busy all the time to enjoy a fabulous vacation. Sit back and relax and relish your honeymoon. You can get a host of information regarding what to do on Kauai from the Kauai Visitors Bureau at 800-262-1400; that'll keep you extremely busy. However, we do recommend that you venture over to Wailua Falls. It's a 4-mile drive up Hwy 583, just follow the signs. Wailua Falls is a picturesque 80-foot water fall surrounded by lush vegetation. It's striking! If you've never ridden a horse, now's the time. Head over to Silver Falls Ranch, 808-828-6718 or CJM Country Stables, 808-742-6096, and get on horseback. You'll most likely love this memorable experience together. Over all, Kauai is one of total relaxation. You don't have the hustle and bustle of city life, you have serene and solitude places to enjoy your honeymoon. Where To Stay on Kauai... We like the idea of having the comforts of home, therefore, the Kauai Coast Resort provides that added touch. With ocean front property they provide all the amenities with fully equipped condominiums. Also, check out the Romantic Vacation Resources listed above. There are lot's of available options. Oahu is considered "The Gathering Place". The meaning fits very well since the Island is home to Honolulu with an island population exceeding 800,000. Approximately 80% of the Hawaiian Islands population live on the island of Oahu. Don't let the amount of people fool you, Oahu offers a great Hawaii Honeymoon Vacation. Obviously you can find just about everything you want in Honolulu from museums to gardens. They all offer a beautiful atmosphere laced with the elegance of the Polynesian affect. What To Do On Your Hawaii Honeymoon Vacation...on Oahu Oahu offers some spectacular clear water, great visibility. The scuba diving and snorkeling off Oahu offer greats rewards. There are several dive shops to choose from, make sure they are certified. Aloha Dive Shop and Taking The Plunge Dive Shop are fully certified as of this writing. If you haven't surfed yet, it's time. You can easily rent boards on Waikiki Beach. This was my first experience surfing and it was extremely exciting. Also, Waikiki Beach is one of the safest beaches on Oahu. If you like the city lifestyle you can pick up a Guided City Tour. It's nice to have an over view of the city, especially if you plan on spending any time in Honolulu. We recommend a small Van Tour. We ran such tours in the past and were able to give people more than their money's worth. The tour was personalized, especially for a honeymoon treat. Check out the concierge at your hotel, they will know all the details and help you out. Drive around the Island. This is a fun and exciting adventure. You'll experience the rainy windward side of Oahu and the desert like area on the leeward side of the Island. There are numerous places to stop and enjoy the surroundings. Where To Stay on Oahu... If you want to go all out on your Hawaii Honeymoon Vacation, stay at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental Hawaii. You'll have every imaginable amenity at your finger tips. Of course be sure to check out the Romantic Vacation Resources listed above. Molokai is "Old Hawaii"... Commercialism has not gained the edge on this undeveloped island. It's tranquility is amongst the dramatic contrasts the island portrays. You'll love the prairie like features to the mountainous terrain. It makes for a perfect honeymoon vacation. There's no road that completely encircles the island; however, you'll find a magnificent coastline with abundant colorful fish beneath the warm Pacific waters. What To Do On Your Hawaii Honeymoon Vacation...on Molokai Molokai is like "getting back to nature". You'll find that a majority of the population here is native Hawaiian, there are few shopping centers and roadways. Granted, the roads the island does have are very adequate to get you around. If you're one for walking, you can engage yourself in numerous walks amongst the scenic beauty. If you're one to explore, you can easily go back into time and check out the historical ruins. They are awe-inspiring for those who have the interest. Molokai is still undiscovered and feel the life style the Hawaiians lived in the past. Where To Stay on Molokai... Molokai, by far does not have the lodging as the other islands but the ones they have are full of "warmth". You'll be treated like you're part of the family. Check out The Lodge And Beach Village At Molokai. Of course, also check the Romantic Vacation Resources listed above. Lanai, The Pineapple Island... Lanai was once nearly one large pineapple plantation owned by the Dole Company. Due to the islands ownership, most of it by Castle & Cooke Inc., Lanai's growth and development are restricted. As a result, it's the least visited island in the Hawaiian chain. If you're one for solitude, Lanai may be for you. It's remote is the sense of its development restrictions. Lanai's population is just over 3,000 so you should find a place that's just right for you somewhere on the Island. What To Do On Your Hawaii Honeymoon Vacation...on Lanai Lanai is home to some beautiful white sand beaches. Head over to the south coast on Hulopo's Bay and Manele Bay. Here you'll find the exquisite beaches. This is also the only protected piece of beach land on the island. "The Garden of The Gods" is a spectacular outcrops of pinnacles and buttes. It's perfect to meander around and take in the beauty. You can also participate with the snorkeling opportunities and lounging by the waters edge. But, if you want a place of isolation, to get away from it all, then Lanai may be the right choice for you. Where To Stay on Lanai... There are not a lot of lodging opportunities on the Island of Lanai. We recommend that you check the Romantic Vacation Resources listed above, and our Travel Network for a Hawaii Honeymoon Vacation. The Decision... The bottom line, it's up to you to make your Hawaii Honeymoon Vacation happen. We can entice you, encourage you, but ultimately it's your decision. In your decision making process remember what Mark Twain said, "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor...Explore. Dream. Discover." Upon your return, we'd like to here from you about your Hawaii Honeymoon Vacation. We know you'll love and enjoy your Hawaii Honeymoon for a fun-filled Time. Now it's up to you to get there. Craig Dahl - The Romantic Travel Expert
